  • 1 bay leaf
  • 8 ounces egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Add the chicken broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, parsley, and bay leaf.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the pot.
  6. Add the egg noodles and cook for an additional 30 minutes on high until noodles are tender.
  7. Remove the bay leaf before serving.
