Easy Pumpkin Pie Twists are a delightful treat combining the flavors of pumpkin and spice wrapped in flaky dough.

- 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup pumpkin purée
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Whipped cream for dipping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix the pumpkin purée, brown sugar, maple syrup, and pumpkin spice until smooth.
- Unroll the crescent dough on a cutting board. Cut it in half lengthwise to create two equal rectangles and place them side by side.
- Spread the pumpkin mixture evenly over one rectangle.
- Place the second rectangle on top, aligning the edges to sandwich the filling.
- Cut the dough into strips about 3/4 inch wide using a knife or pizza cutter.
- Transfer the strips to the prepared baking sheet.
- Twist each strip by twisting one end a few times, then twisting the other end.
- Brush generously with melted butter.
- Mix the sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle evenly over the twists.
- Bake for 8–11 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm, with whipped cream if desired.
Notes
- Don’t overfill with pumpkin mixture to prevent leaks while twisting.
- These are best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated briefly in the oven.
- You can add chopped nuts to the filling for extra texture if desired.
