Garlic Parmesan Chicken is a flavorful and creamy dish that combines tender chicken breasts with a rich garlic and Parmesan sauce.

- 1¾ cups chicken broth
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon honey
- ½ chicken bouillon cube
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon basil
- ½ teaspoon parsley
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 2 teaspoons parsley
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine all sauce ingredients in a measuring cup and set aside.
- Slice chicken breasts lengthwise into thinner pieces. Cover and pound to about ½-inch thickness.
- Season both sides with salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add butter, then flour. Stir and cook for 1–2 minutes.
- Gradually add the prepared sauce mixture, stirring constantly. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce to a simmer for 8 minutes, until slightly thickened.
- Lower heat and slowly stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Add lemon juice.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and simmer 5 minutes until heated through and sauce reaches desired thickness.
- Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
- Freshly grated Parmesan melts better and gives a smoother sauce.
- Chicken broth fully replaces the wine without losing flavor.
- Use a wide skillet to help the sauce reduce properly.
- Store leftovers refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen up to 3 months.
