Description

Homemade Rosemary Sea Salt Crackers are simple to make and perfect for snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp coarse sea salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 ½ tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup water
  • Extra sea salt for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, salt, sugar, and rosemary. Stir in water and olive oil until fully combined.
  3. Turn dough onto a lightly floured piece of parchment paper. Roll dough to about 1/8-inch thickness.
  4. Trim edges if desired. Cut dough into squares using a pizza cutter. Brush lightly with water and sprinkle with extra sea salt if desired.
  5. Transfer parchment with dough onto baking sheet. Place in oven and immediately reduce heat to 425°F (220°C). Bake for 12–17 minutes until golden.
  6. Allow crackers to cool completely before serving or storing.

Notes

  • Coarse Kosher salt can be used instead of sea salt.
  • Makes about 30–40 crackers; double the batch for parties, rolling out in two separate batches.
