Sourdough Cheese and Garlic Pull-Apart Bread is a delicious and cheesy bread perfect for sharing.

- 1 loaf crusty sourdough bread
- 113 g (8 Tbsp) unsalted butter, melted
- 5 g (¾ tsp) salt
- 4 g (2 Tbsp) fresh parsley, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 100 g (1 cup) mozzarella, shredded
- 100 g (1 cup) asiago, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk melted butter, garlic, parsley, and salt.
- Using a bread knife, slice the loaf into 1-inch slices, stopping before you cut through the bottom. Rotate and repeat to form a diamond grid.
- Brush or spoon the garlic butter deep into all the cuts. Brush the top too.
- Mix mozzarella and asiago, then stuff cheese into all the cracks.
- Wrap the loaf fully in foil and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake 20–25 minutes covered.
- Uncover and bake 10–15 more minutes until cheese is melted and the top is golden.
- Serve warm and pull apart.
Notes
- Use room-temperature butter instead of melted for make-ahead option.
- Mix with garlic, parsley, and salt, spread into the bread, add cheese, wrap in foil, and refrigerate.
