- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
- Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add heavy cream, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning; stir to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer, then add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet along with the cooked pasta; toss to coat.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
