  • Author: Belinda
  • Total Time: 2 hours 10 minutes

  • Diet: Vegan

Description

A simple and delicious two-ingredient ice cream made from ripe bananas and peanut butter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large, very ripe bananas
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and slice into ½-inch discs.
  2. Arrange the banana slices in a single layer on a large plate or baking sheet. Freeze for 1–2 hours.
  3. Place the frozen banana slices in a food processor or high-powered blender. Blend, scraping down the sides as needed, until the mixture becomes creamy and smooth.
  4. Add the peanut butter and blend again until fully combined.
  5. Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture. For a firmer, scoopable texture, transfer to the freezer for a few hours before serving.

Notes

  • If the mixture is difficult to blend, add 1–2 tablespoons of milk to help it along.
  • A powerful blender or food processor works best for achieving a creamy consistency.
