Description
A simple and delicious two-ingredient ice cream made from ripe bananas and peanut butter.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large, very ripe bananas
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
Instructions
- Peel the bananas and slice into ½-inch discs.
- Arrange the banana slices in a single layer on a large plate or baking sheet. Freeze for 1–2 hours.
- Place the frozen banana slices in a food processor or high-powered blender. Blend, scraping down the sides as needed, until the mixture becomes creamy and smooth.
- Add the peanut butter and blend again until fully combined.
- Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture. For a firmer, scoopable texture, transfer to the freezer for a few hours before serving.
Notes
- If the mixture is difficult to blend, add 1–2 tablespoons of milk to help it along.
- A powerful blender or food processor works best for achieving a creamy consistency.
