Description
A creamy and warm baked dip featuring cranberry and cheddar cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked cranberry sauce (or whole berry sauce)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar, cranberry sauce, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until smooth and well blended.
- Spoon the mixture into a small baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Optional: Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top before serving. Serve warm with crackers, bread, or vegetables.
Notes
- For a slightly sweeter dip, increase the brown sugar by 1 teaspoon.
- Whole berry cranberry sauce gives a chunkier texture; smooth sauce will create a creamier dip.
- Can be made ahead and baked just before serving for convenience.
