  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil or butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Peel pears using a vegetable peeler.
  3. Cut off the ends, then slice each pear in half lengthwise.
  4. Gently scoop out the core.
  5. Place pears face down on a baking sheet or in a 9×13-inch glass baking dish.
  6. In a small bowl, combine honey, cinnamon, coconut oil (or butter), and vanilla extract.
  7. Microwave for about 30 seconds, then stir until well combined.
  8. Spoon about 1/2 to 3/4 of the sauce over the pears.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes, until soft and lightly browned.
  10. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
  11. Spoon remaining sauce over each pear before serving.
