Description
Delicious M&M Cookie Bars with a chewy texture and loaded with chocolate chips and M&M’s.
Ingredients

- 1 cup Butter (1/2 cup melted in saucepan, 1/2 cup mixed with sugars)
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1 large Egg
- 1 large Egg Yolk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 2 1/3 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 1/2 cups Chocolate Chips
- 2 cups M & M’s
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt 1/2 cup of butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat until it bubbles. Remove from heat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the remaining 1/2 cup of butter, brown sugar, and sugar. Mix for 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add the melted butter and mix for 3 minutes longer.
- Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla. Mix for 1 minute.
- Fold in flour, baking soda, and salt. Add chocolate chips and M & M’s.
- Place parchment paper in a 9 x 13 pan and press around the sides.
- Spread cookie dough into the baking pan.
- Bake for 22-25 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let set for at least 15 minutes before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can be frozen for later use.
