Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prepare the coffee and let it cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  5. Dip each pound cake slice into the coffee and layer it in a dish.
  6. Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the cake slices.
  7. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the mascarpone mixture.
  8. Dust the top with cocoa powder.
  9. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
