Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Add diced onion, garlic, and grated ginger. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  4. Stir in shredded cabbage and carrots. Cook for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender.
  5. Add chicken broth, soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, and sriracha. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, topped with green onions, cilantro, sesame seeds, and crispy wonton strips if desired.
