Oven Baked Meatballs are easy to make and packed with flavor. Perfect for a quick dinner or meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, 80/20
  • 1/4 cup almond flour (or substitute with Italian breadcrumbs or panko crumbs)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Roll heaping tablespoons of mixture into meatballs (approx. 20).
  3. Place meatballs on the prepared sheet, spaced 1/2–1 inch apart. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake for 24 minutes, until cooked through and golden brown.
  5. Enjoy any way you like—ideal with spaghetti noodles and marinara sauce.

Notes

  • Can substitute almond flour with Italian breadcrumbs or panko crumbs.
  • Can also bake in mini muffin tins.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
  • Cool completely, freeze on a sheet for 1 hour, then transfer to a storage bag for up to 3 months.
