A simple and delicious Puppy Chow recipe made with chocolate, peanut butter, and Rice Chex.

- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup salted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1½ to 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, then heat an additional 30 seconds until smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Place the cereal in a large mixing bowl. Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently stir until evenly coated.
- Transfer coated cereal into a large zip-top bag. Add powdered sugar, seal, and shake until fully coated.
- Spread the mixture onto parchment or wax paper and allow it to cool until the coating is set.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. Refrigerate if the kitchen is warm.
