Royal Milk Tea is a creamy and flavorful beverage made with black tea and milk.
Ingredients

- 2–3 bags black tea (Assam, Darjeeling, or English Breakfast) or 2–3 tablespoons loose-leaf tea
- 1 cup water
- 1½ cups whole milk
- 1–2 teaspoons sugar (or to taste)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
- Add the black tea and reduce heat to a low simmer. Simmer gently for 2 minutes.
- Pour in the milk and watch closely. Let it heat until it begins to simmer, but remove from heat just before it comes to a boil.
- Remove the tea bags (or strain loose-leaf tea).
- Serve hot and sweeten with sugar to your preference.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of tea depending on how strong you prefer the flavor.
- For a creamier version, slightly increase the milk.
- Stir continuously after adding milk to prevent scorching.
