Description

A sweet and salty treat combining chocolate, pretzels, and caramel.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 8 oz pretzels
  • 11 oz soft caramels
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • Sea salt, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  3. Spread about two-thirds of the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Arrange pretzels over the chocolate and gently press them down.
  5. In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the caramels with the heavy cream for about 2 minutes, stirring until smooth.
  6. Drizzle the caramel evenly over the pretzels.
  7. Drizzle the remaining melted chocolate over the top and sprinkle with sea salt.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator until set, then break or cut into pieces. Alternatively, let it set at room temperature for about 2 hours.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
  • Allow to sit at room temperature briefly before serving for easier cutting.
