- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions
- Preheat to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir until just combined and smooth (do not overmix).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
- Pour batter evenly into the prepared dish. Arrange sliced bananas evenly over the batter.
- Mix cinnamon and nutmeg in a small bowl and sprinkle over the bananas.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

- Use very ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and flavor.
- Add chopped pecans or walnuts for crunch.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
