Easy No-Bake Chocolate Lasagna Cake with Oreo Crust

- 36 regular Oreos
- 6 Tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2 Tablespoons cold milk
- 12 ounces Cool Whip, divided
- 2 (3.9-ounce) packages dry chocolate instant pudding
- 3 ¼ cups cold milk
- Mini chocolate chips, optional
- Crushed Oreos, optional
Instructions
- In a food processor or blender, blend Oreos into fine crumbs. Add melted butter and mix until combined. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish and place in the freezer or refrigerator for 5 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, whip cream cheese until fluffy. Add sugar and milk. Mix until combined. Stir in 1 cup Cool Whip and spread over the crust. Place in the freezer or fridge for 5 to 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk pudding and cold milk together until thick. Spread over the cream cheese layer. Place back in the fridge for 5 to 10 minutes to allow pudding to set.
- Once the pudding has set, spread remaining Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with chocolate chips or crushed Oreos. Store in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours. Slice just before serving and enjoy while cold.
Notes
- Keep the cream in the center of the Oreos.
- Use instant chocolate pudding, not the cook and serve variation.
- You can make homemade Cool Whip if preferred.
- This dessert can be made 24 hours in advance.
- The crust may get softer over time, so avoid prepping more than 48 hours in advance.
- You can keep the layers in separate bowls until ready to assemble.
